INVESTIGATIVE EXPERIENCE
I am currently working as a Fire Investigator for Fee Investigations.
During my thirty one year career with the Pasadena Fire Department I assisted in the investigation of over fifteen hundred fires. During my last five years as a Captain, Origin and Cause was my responsibility in at least two hundred fires.
I have participated in the deliberate ignition of dwellings to observe fire behavior and understand movement and intensity in the spread of fire. These live burns were representations of accidental and incendiary fires.
I have participated in the deliberate ignition of motor vehicles to observe fire behavior and understand the movement and intensity patterns within the engine, passenger, and cargo compartments, as well as the vehicle exterior.
